I had the honor of working with Eve Ekman to update and improve the Atlas of emotions. Originally designed and built by Stamen Design for Paul Ekman in collaboration with the Dalai Lama, the Atlas aims to increase people’s emotional awareness through metaphor and interaction. It is based on years of research and collaboration with scientists in the field of psychology.

After the initial launch, the site needed a UI refresh and a new section about the process of experiencing emotions. I worked with Eve to design a new UI/UX and a new animated interactive information graphic that explains how we enter and experience states of emotion.
